Thoughts on Mahat …. Then and Now

Bret McAtee @ 7:55 am

Ancient Egypt ran according to what might be called the Mahat system. In this societal organizational system the Pharaoh sat at the top of the authoritarian food chain as the incarnated son of Ra. Pharaoh ruled by fiat power and there was no authority that was transcendent to the word of Pharaoh. All of Egypt was owned by Pharaoh and all Egyptians were slaves to Pharaoh. Beneath Pharaoh was the Vizier who was the highest slave in the Mahat system. The only person that the Vizier was a direct slave to was to Pharaoh. All beneath the Vizier were slaves to Pharaoh through slavery to the Vizier. Beneath the Vizier were further layers of authoritarian rule – each layer being a slave to Pharaoh through their slavery to the next levels above them.

In this Mahat system there was no appeal system. The word of each elite class over the class beneath was the final word. It was a system of tyranny but it also was a system that was incredibly efficient. It’s organization was like the organization of a military unit. The society was a fist and Pharaoh the mind that directed the fist. Indeed, one could say that Egyptian culture under the Mahat system was Unitarian and that each of the individuals in the Egyptian culture was merely a replaceable cog existing for the sake of the Egyptian societal machine.

The notion of Mahat systems remains with modern man. Whenever you get a Unitarian theological mindset in a culture, the result is that society will organize itself along Unitarian inspired hyper-structured lines. Once one can locate where the fiat authority is emanating from in a culture one can be confident that they have located the God of the system. Once the god in the culture is located one can begin to recognize how everything is being organized as a Unitarian extension of the fiat speaking god of the system.

The reality that American culture is becoming increasingly Mahat oriented can be seen in educational programs such a “from school to work.” In these programs students are selected at a very young age where they will fit as indistinguishable cogs into society that is being organized with military efficiency. The individual cogs that exist for the whole are characterized as mere technicians. In a Mahat system the drones (and this includes 95% of the population) exist as technicians. Their role is to keep the machinery running without thinking about the “whys” and the “wherefores” of the system. The job of the individual cogs is merely to keep the system running without pausing to consider the nature of the system for which they are providing maintainence. As such in a well run Mahat system even what is typically considered as the “professional class” are really nothing but high paid technicians whose job is to make sure the system remains wells lubricated, working with efficiency.

It is probably disputable as to where the singular god is located in our Mahat system but if we take “fiat action” to be the hint where the god may be found we would have to say that the Federal Reserve, which creates “fiat money” has one claim to the god of the system. Another entity that might have claim to the status of the Mahat of our society might be the judiciary as ultimately expressed in the SCOTUS. In the judiciary we find divine fiat law being created out of nothing.

Several signs of a Mahat organized society

1.) Uniformity of thought – There may be divisions on lesser issues but on the issues that are at the heart of the culture there is a remarkable uniformity of thought. One example of this is how the overwhelming majority of our society votes for one of the two expressions of our Unitarian political party. Another example is the willingness of the populace to send their seed to the indoctrination centers where the continuance of the uniformity of thought can be guaranteed.

2.) Knee-jerk reactions by the elite when the god is assaulted – Allow somebody to vigorously and successfully assault the Federal Reserve and see how long they would be allowed to live.

3.) A refusal on the part of the drones to consider anything beyond their technician responsibilities. Thinking is something that the elites do. The concern of the drones is living within the cultural structure created by the elites and not with questioning the legitimacy of the structure created.

4.) A large presence of circuses in order to distract the drones from identifying the god and its failures. A good Mahat system will provide amusement in order to distract the drones. This amusement is the officially proscribed relief from the tensions of their technician lives.
